This website is operated by Float. GC Events. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Float. GC Events. Float. GC Events offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

Client Responsibility for Equipment

The client, as identified on the invoice, assumes full responsibility for the hired goods and equipment from the commencement date and time specified on the invoice from FLOAT.GC EVENTS. This responsibility continues throughout the entire event period outlined in the invoice. By making any payment towards your invoice, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions set forth by FLOAT.GC EVENTS.

Liability for Damage

The client is liable for any damage to the hired equipment, including damage caused by uncontrollable weather events. This liability extends to both the client and FLOAT.GC EVENTS, as applicable.

Event Delivery 

This table is a guide only.

Final fees depend on the size of the event, number of staff required, and any heavy or oversized equipment.

Our delivery charges are based on the distance from our location in Pimpama, QLD.

Charges will be calculated based on the delivery address provided at the time of booking. Delivery fees are subject to change and will be confirmed during the booking process. Please ensure the delivery address is accurate to avoid any delays or additional charges. Hire is for a 24 hours, please advise if you require collection the same day as set up. 

Usage and Location Restrictions

The client agrees not to use the hired equipment in locations or for purposes other than those for which it is specifically designed, unless explicitly approved by FLOAT.GC EVENTS.

Relocation of Equipment

The client may not move the hired equipment or any part of it from its original installation location without prior permission from FLOAT.GC EVENTS.

Promotional Use of Media

FLOAT.GC EVENTS reserves the right to use photographs and videos of the hired equipment for promotional purposes.

Payment Terms

The client must settle the full booking invoice, including delivery charges, no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. FLOAT.GC EVENTS reserves the right to cancel any reservations if the total payment is not completed by this deadline. All payments made are non-refundable.

Service Details

FLOAT.GC EVENTS will take care of the delivery, installation, and removal of all event decor and backdrop equipment. We will liaise with the venue to arrange suitable times for these tasks. The client is responsible for ensuring sufficient space is available for the rented equipment. FLOAT.GC EVENTS is not liable if the venue cannot accommodate the necessary space for the equipment.

Coverage and Safety Measures

FLOAT.GC EVENTS carries up-to-date public liability insurance, with a certificate available upon request if required by the venue. While we provide the essential weights and securing equipment for our backdrops, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure all safety measures are followed to prevent accidents or injuries.

Responsibility and Protection

FLOAT.GC EVENTS accepts no responsibility for any injuries or damages caused by the use of the equipment by the client or others. The client agrees to protect FLOAT.GC EVENTS from any claims, losses, damages, expenses, or legal fees arising from the use of the equipment.

Wet Weather 

If your event is scheduled to take place outdoors, a wet weather contingency plan must be in place and communicated to FLOAT.GC EVENTS no later than 24 hours prior to the event start time. This ensures we can make appropriate arrangements to deliver our services safely and effectively.

In the event of wet weather conditions on the day of your event, FLOAT.GC EVENTS will make every reasonable effort to implement the agreed-upon contingency plan. Failure to confirm or communicate the wet weather plan within the 24-hour window may result in limited setup options or the inability to proceed with certain styling elements.

Outdoor installations are subject to weather safety conditions. FLOAT.GC EVENTS reserves the right to modify, relocate, or withhold specific styling items if weather conditions (including but not limited to rain, strong winds, or lightning) pose a risk to our staff, equipment, or the success of the event. In such cases, we will liaise with the client or venue to determine a suitable alternative.

No refunds or discounts will be provided for changes or omissions due to adverse weather if a suitable wet weather plan has not been arranged or if safe setup is not possible.

SOFT PLAY: Our soft play is supplied by Arche Event Co.

 BOOKING & PAYMENT
 Bookings for the hire of soft play equipment must be made in advance and
 confirmed by payment of a deposit of $200 or full payment including the bond
 payment of $200, as specified by Arche Event Co.. The balance of the hire fee
 must be paid fourteen (14) days before your event date. Arche Event Co. reserves
 the right to cancel any booking if the balance of the hire fee is not received by the
 due date. Prices are subject to change at any time, but once your security deposit
 has been paid the price will remain the same for the entirety of the booking.
 

DELIVERY, SET UP & COLLECTION
 Arche Event Co. shall deliver, set-up and collect the equipment at the times
 specified in the booking. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring that there
 is adequate space and access for the delivery, set-up and collection of the
 equipment. Arche Event Co. shall not be liable for any delay in delivery, set-up, or
 collection due to circumstances beyond its control

CANCELLATIONS
 Arche Event Co. does not offer refunds. If the customer needs to cancel the
 booked event date a notice period of no less than fourteen (14) days will be
 required in order to postpone event date (subject to availability) within a period of
 twelve (12) months. If the customer does not wish to postpone the booking and
 wants to cancel a fee of 50% will be deducted from the security deposit, the
 remaining amount will be deposited back into your chosen account within seven
 (7) business days. Arche Event Co. advises all clients to have a wet weather
 backup plan if your party is scheduled to be outside. We will not set up in the rain
 and do not offer refunds for bookings made with no wet weather backup. If the
 grounds are too wet due to previous rainfall Arche Event Co. can refuse to set up
 on the day as it can damage the equipment and also become unsafe for children
 to use. If you would like to reschedule due to predicted wet weather the same
 cancellation policy applies to your booking as above. Please consider this when
 booking and paying your deposit.

 COUNCIL APPROVALS
 It is the customers responsibility to acquire appropriate council approvals where
 applicable. Refunds will not be given if setup is denied on the day.
 

USE OF EQUIPMENT
 The customer shall use the equipment in accordance with the play rules provided
 by Arche Event Co.. The customer shall be responsible for the proper and safe
 use of the equipment and shall not use the equipment for any illegal or prohibited
 purpose. Messy play and face painting services are not allowed at the same
 events as our soft play equipment as they can permanently stain our equipment
 resulting in loss of bond and replacement costs. Please consider this when
 booking and paying your deposit.

 LIABILITY
 Arche Event Co. shall not be liable for any injury or damage resulting from the use
 of the equipment by the customer or any other person. The customer shall
 indemnify and hold harmless Arche Event Co. against any and all claims, losses,
 damages, expenses and costs (including legal fees) arising from or in connection
 with the customers use of the equipment.
 

DAMAGE OR LOSS OF EQUIPMENT It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that the equipment is returned in the same
 condition as when it had arrived. If the equipment is damaged, lost or stolen the
 hirer will be responsible for replacement/repair costs to the full amount. If
 replacement/repair costs exceed the $200 security deposit the hirer will be
 invoiced the remaining amount.

 HEALTH & SAFETY
 1. Arche Event Co. is covered by Public Liability Insurance, but it is the customers
 responsibility to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid any injuries
 occuring whilst using our equipment. 
2. Our equipment has been designed for children aged 6 months to 4 years old. 
3. Supervision from a responsible adult is required at all times. Arche Event Co.
 does not provide supervision for any events. 
4. Before using our equipment, children MUST remove shoes, glasses and any
 sharp objects. Any parent/guardians who are entering the area must also remove
 their shoes. 
5. No food, drinks, animals or other toys are allowed on or near our equipment. 
6. Smoking is strictly prohibited on or near our equipment. 
7. If anything did spill on the equipment, please only clean with a dry or damp
 paper towel and advise us upon collection/drop off of the whereabouts the spill
 occurred. 
8. Arche Event Co. thoroughly cleans our equipment after each use, however an
 additional fee of $100 will be charged if our equipment becomes soiled beyond
 standard use. 
9. If your event is going to be held outside , we recommend setting up under a
 shady area as the equipment can become hot if left in the sun, especially during
 summer

Online Store Terms of Service

You may not use our products for illegal or unauthorized purposes nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright laws. Transmitting worms, viruses, or destructive code is prohibited. Violating these terms will result in an immediate termination of your services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. You understand that your content may be transferred unencrypted across networks and may be modified to fit technical requirements. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the service without express written permission from us.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information on this site. Reliance on any material from this site is at your own risk. Historical information is for reference only, and we are under no obligation to update it.

Section 4: Modifications to Service and Prices

Prices for products are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time without liability to you or any third party.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online. These may have limited quantities and are subject to our Refund Policy. We do not guarantee the accuracy of colors on your monitor and reserve the right to limit the sale of products or services.

You agree to provide accurate purchase and account information. We reserve the right to refuse orders, and may limit or cancel orders placed under the same account, credit card, or billing address.

Section 7: Optional Tools

We may provide access to third-party tools over which we have no control. Use of these tools is at your own risk, and we disclaim any liability associated with their use.
